Local first.Cloud second.

A Hub installed at home runs the automations and talks to your devices. The private Cloud adds remote access, notifications and history, through an encrypted outbound connection.

A local-first architecture

Local Hub

The brain of the home: devices, automations and an offline event queue.

No inbound port required

The Hub opens its own encrypted outbound WebSocket connection to the Cloud.

Private server

Private hosting in Quebec, PostgreSQL database, no mandatory dependency on a third-party service.

Encrypted private access

Secure sessions (HttpOnly cookies), CSRF protection, passwords hashed with Argon2.

Permissions per user

Roles per site and strict isolation between organizations.

Local control, even without Internet

If the Internet goes down, the Hub keeps going and resyncs events when it's back.

Resilient by design

Cut the Internet during the demo: automations keep running locally, then the history resyncs.

  • Local event queue
  • Automatic resync
  • Hub and Cloud status always visible
